COVID-19 Company Statement
23th March 2020
Dear All,
The health and safety of our employees, customers and suppliers is our highest priority. We want to share how we are approaching concerns regarding COVID-19 at this exceptional and uncertain time.
We are monitoring the situation on a daily basis and are following the latest guidelines from the World Health Organization, Public Health England and Government. We are taking every necessary, practical and sensible steps possible in order to provide safe and healthy work environments, including implementing extra precautionary measures at our warehouse and office.
In addition to our standard health procedures, these further measures include:
-
Whilst the office stays open at the time of writing, we are where possible set up to work from home and can remotely access our systems within a secure IT environment.
-
Encouraging employees to report any illnesses they are experiencing and to stay at home if they are sick
-
Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting areas, with consistent reminders throughout the workday
-
Distributing hand sanitizers and continuing to remind employees to wash their hands regularly
Our team will closely follow the latest updates to make timely decisions and take action where needed. We know this is a difficult and fast-moving situation, but we want you to know that we are here for you. We will do everything we can to help our suppliers, customers and communities to stay safe.
While there will almost certainly be some disruption in the weeks ahead, we will strive to maintain our usual standards of service. We are NOT anticipating any significant interruption to the continuity of supply of our products to your business as a result of the COVID-19 virus.
We continue to monitor government advice closely and hope you will understand our approach, accepting that further limitations may be enforced upon us over the coming days and weeks.
